Through the collection of historical material, cultural, artistic and informational material about sea activities that, over time affected the female world, we want to build an intercultural, inter-religious and inter-linguistic dialogue process, respecting the wealth of diversity and learning to enhance it. The project, which is implemented in the framework of Lifelong Learning - Gruntdvig -, aims to contribute to the dissemination and knowledge of the traditions, crafts, flavors and the role that the woman in such activity had in the past and which has in the present, identifying a new socio-cultural and economic developments role of women in marine activities. We will speak about equal opportunity and future job prospects. We will treat the woman-body-sea relationship in scenic representation. We will involve elderly over 40 and they will transmit their experiences to young people (17/25) learning new communication technologies. We will give to migrant workers and disabled the opportunity to integrate. We also hope to give a contribution to knowledge to learn by learning.

Concrete Objectives of the Partnership: To improve quality, quantity and accessibility of mobility throughout Europe of individuals involved in lifelong learning; to facilitate learning and intergenerational dialogue through a structured programme of artistic and cultural activities and mobility of learners; to develop new methods of communication and forming of groups of young-adult students; Learning to learn knowledge.

Methods: Educators and learners will work together to exchange experiences, practices and methods to develop perception, creativity and learning of learners; Each institution will organize workshops to create artistic or handcrafted objects, theatrical activities, food, language and informatic skills; Learners will have the access to basic computer knowledge; Educators and learners will meet experts in the economic sea-field and will visit museums and impressive sites where to live a personal experience about the sea world.

ComeUnaMarea was born in Palermo with the intention to study, develop and disseminate cultural, natural, archaeological, historical, artistic and ethno-anthropological heritage of the sicilian territory, giving great importance to oral traditions and expressions, performing arts, social practices and rituals , and knowledge related to traditional crafts. This activity was aimed at the whole community without social, cultural and ethnical distinctions. Particular attention has been given to socially and economically disadvantaged adults, to young people at risk of social exclusion and to women. For them were made with public institutions and educational institutions, training and artistic activities. In collaboration with the General Consulate of the Kingdom of Morocco a work of awareness of the ethnic cultures of the Mediterranean was developed. ComeUnaMarea is a member of the "Anna Lindh Foundation”, so it is in place the organization of activities included in the "1001 actions for dialogue". ComeUnaMarea since 2006 is the subject of support for the project Socrates Comenius 2.2.

Since its establishment, in close co-operation with academic institutions in Slovakia and abroad, the ASPEKT Foundation has been dedicated to the highest educational ideals and a philosophy of better human understanding and bringing people together through education and language learning. The Aspekt Foundation is committed to efficient dissemination of instruction, cross cultural communication and positive thinking. For the past few years many young people and adults of all ages and interests have benefited from our language programmes and courses where the spoken language and communicative approach are emphasised. The friendly atmosphere of the school has contributed greatly to their excellent final results. ASPEKT Foundation co-operates with Llysfasi College in North Wales UK, The University of Agriculture and The Agroinstitute, The University of Education in Nitra, The British Council, US Peace Corps in Bratislava, Robert Bosch Foundation in Stuttgart, The Slovak Academic and Information Agency, Envi-Geos (a Slovak-German company) and other British and American organisations.

European University Cyprus (Former Cyprus College) is the first private higher educational institution to be established in Cyprus. The mission of the University is to create an academic and social environment, in which students are challenged, guided and supported to develop and achieve their personal and professional goals. Students are challenged to develop as independent, effective, active, rational and creative thinkers who appreciate and respect social, moral and ethical values. European University Cyprus is also involved in research projects funded by national and international research institutions and the European Commission, and has extensive experience in exchange of students and faculty members through the Erasmus exchange programme and the Leonardo Da Vinci Mobility Programme.

The Cultural Center of Ekteloniston Association of the Municipality of Alimos was established in 1967. The main aim of the association is to involve the members and other adult residents of the local community in cultural and educational programmes so as to keep up and disseminate traditions and customs of the area. Another goal is to reinforce creativity and scientific activities of the members at international level involving them in intercultural dialogue. The participants benefit from the wide range of programmes which contain lectures, drama performances, art exhibitions and special cultural visits. The training programmes involves the participants in IT competence courses,foreign language courses, artistic activities, folk dances ,choir singing, and History and Culture courses.
